What you'll be doing?
We are recruiting for an Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing Lead who will join our Organisation Development Team. We want to continue to embed a compassionate and inclusive culture that recognises our people's humanity and supports their wellbeing.
A successful candidate will promote, champion and lead diversity, equality, wellbeing and engagement programmes across Digital Health and Care Wales to support equality and wellbeing for our people and service users.
Main duties of the job
What your day to day would look like?
1. Consulting with the organisation and stakeholders to initiate, lead and deliver EDI and Wellbeing proposals to support DHCW's strategy
2. Providing guidance and leadership to support the delivery of EDI and wellbeing initiatives that help deliver our People & OD strategy
3. Collaborating across the teams to support the delivery of key programmes and progress reporting on plans.
4. Analysing data, forecasting trends and producing reports with clear recommendations to influence and inform decision making for senior leadership.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

5. EDI practitioner with organisational development/HR experience and broad subject matter expertise
6. Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills with a tolerance for ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
7. Able to manage multiple complex initiatives at once, understand how to lead, influence, and inspire people and how to achieve clear goals whilst establishing trust.

8. Educated to Masters level in a relevant subject or equivalent evidenced experience
9. OD Practitioner Qualification / CIPD Module or prepared to undertake

10. Registered with a relevant informatics professional body

12. Demonstrable experience of leading work on equality, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing at a senior management level in a large and complex multi-professional organisation.
13. Experience of negotiating and influencing senior managers and staff, including Executive Board Members, to engage with the equality, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing agenda.
14. Working with complex projects
15. Working in collaboration internally and eternally
16. Proven track record of developing and implementing people policies and programmes of work
17. Experience of organisational development and managing change and advising on the implications of change
