Our Design Technology department understands the impact that creative education has on the lives of young people and is seeking an inspirational Teacher of Design Technology who is passionate about teaching all aspects of the curriculum at Key Stage 3, with the ability to teach Product Design at Key Stage 4 and potentially Key Stage 5. You will have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum developments at KS3, 4 and 5.
We are extremely well equipped, with seven specialist workshops including brand new facilities in our food room. Students are able to work with an excellent range of resources. They have access to rapid prototyping, laser cutters, and industry-standard computer-aided design, graphic design, and electronic programming software.
At Key Stage 3, we deliver Food, Textiles, Product Design, Graphics, and Systems organized within a 6-week rotation. We deliver both GCSE (Textiles and Product), Level 2 Hospitality and Catering and A Level Product Design. We are supported by two excellent technicians.
