I am looking to recruit a dynamic Health and Safety Manager to head up one of the South West region's largest projects to date.
This is a client-side role based on site with occasional travel to Head Office in Coventry.
You will play a key role in governance regarding the care and protection of employees and contractors. You will be reporting into the Head of Construction and working alongside the Contracts Manager.
What's required?
1. General NEBOSH Certificate
2. CSR Site Card
3. First Aid Basic Certificate
4. Minimum 5+ years' experience within a similar management role with knowledge of the following:
* Risk Assessments
* Conducting safety inspections
* Emergency preparedness
* Accident investigations
* Safety communication
* PPE requirements
* Health & well-being
* Environmental compliance
* Strong Communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
* Knowledge of IOSH Safety standards and regulations relating to the specific trade or activity being managed.
* Good organisational and record-keeping abilities - the ability to maintain accurate records of all safety-related activities.
* Good working knowledge of British Health & Safety legislation and COMAH.
* Background managing people as the direct reporting manager.
