Blue Arrow Derby is proud to be working in partnership with a manufacturing company and they are looking to recruit a BI Reporting Developer to join their head office team on a full-time permanent basis.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 17.00 and Friday 8.30 - 15.30 (37 per week)
What duties would you be doing within the BI Reporting Developer:
1. Data Modelling: Develop and deliver the necessary technical solutions to enable automated data extraction, transformation and modelling for use across the reporting framework.
2. BI Report Creation: Working with our Sales Analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications to design, structure and build BI reports. Identify and communicate actionable insights & enable users throughout the organisation to self-serve.
3. Monthly Submissions: Take ownership of the processes to update and maintain monthly reports received and submitted. Working with Sales Analysts to routinely review accuracy, functionality and usability of available reports and dashboards.
4. Statistical Modelling: Build statistical models to assess sales and marketing metrics.
Qualifications/Experience required:
1. Comprehensive experience of Power BI and Microsoft solutions.
2. Knowledge of DAX/SQL/Python or other languages & database/SQL Server experience.
3. Experience with data wrangling and data modelling.
4. You should be highly organised and process oriented, with strong attention to detail skills.
5. You will have a high level of data intuition, be a data-driven problem solver with the ability to decipher trends in data and communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
6. You will be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to solve problems and overcome barriers.
