The Role
As an experienced District Nurse, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to patients within the client’s local district. You’ll have a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting home visits to assess patients' health needs, providing skilled nursing care, administering medications, managing chronic conditions, and offering support and education to patients and their families. You’ll also need to act as a liaison between patients and the wider healthcare team, coordinating care and advocating for your patients' needs. Additionally, you’ll contribute to public health initiatives, disease prevention, and health promotion efforts within the community.
You’ll be a personable, friendly, empathetic person with excellent time management, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and make judgement calls when required.
