Are you an experienced Mental Health Nurse/OT/Social Worker with experience of working within Eating Disorders, who wants to develop or consolidate leadership and operational management skills?
There is an exciting opportunity to join the Adult Community Eating Disorder service in Oxfordshire (OACED) as the Clinical Team Manager. The Oxon Adult Community Eating Disorder Service has been through significant transformation over the past 2-3 years. It is a county-wide service, with a team base in Central Oxford.
You will be part of a team of dedicated and experienced multi-disciplinary professionals who deliver a range of evidence-based treatments for those with an eating disorder. The team is friendly, energetic, and dynamic, valuing innovation and creative ways to develop the service, always focusing on excellent, evidence-based patient-centered care.
You will hold overall management responsibility for all aspects of service delivery and operational matters for the Oxfordshire Adult Eating Disorder Team.
You will lead a rich multidisciplinary team with a broad range of experience, providing great leadership with enthusiasm for service transformation and determination to provide outstanding quality care. You’ll be coordinating and motivating the team, having robust oversight of waiting lists and working with colleagues to ensure the team delivers against KPIs.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. To take operational responsibility for the Multi-Disciplinary Team. This includes monitoring and managing workloads, caseload management, job planning, management supervision, authorizing leave and expenses, and implementing systems to ensure safe, effective working of the service.
2. To be responsible for the coordination and management of the team in providing a safe, effective, and therapeutic clinical team.
3. To work in partnership with key agencies across Oxfordshire, regionally, and nationally to ensure strong and active relationships and promoting service developments and shared outcomes for people with an eating disorder.
4. To promote collaborative working with the leadership team and wider team to provide an evidence-based, high-quality, responsive, and safe service.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the Oxfordshire Out of Hours On-Call Manager’s Rota.
