Description
* Manage accounting activities for the business unit, including month-end close processes and financial reporting.
* Develop and maintain budgets, financial plans, and forecasts.
* Calculate, record, and process commission payments accurately.
* Review and validate employee expense submissions for compliance and accuracy.
* Oversee and approve payment runs to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
* Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings in compliance with regulations.
* Conduct stock analysis, including monitoring for obsolescence and valuation adjustments.
* Perform reconciliations of balance sheets and bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
* Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
Profile
* A professional accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, or ICAEW.
* Demonstrated post-qualification experience in a finance or accounting role.
* Strong results orientation with attention to detail, process improvement skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Embody the company's core behaviours.
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
* Advanced computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
