Project Planner Hybrid optional Location: Rugby, CV21 Salary: £400-£500 p/d Hours: Mon-Friday- 40 hoursGrafton Recruitment are working on behalf of a busy, leading business in the Rugby area, who are looking for an experienced Project Planner to be a key member of the project controls team along with a focus on supporting the planning, cost control and risk management projects. The role: Develop and maintain detailed, integrated schedules that account for both internal project plans and supplier timelines, with a focus on marine project requirements and security considerations. Implement best practices in project planning, including scenario analysis, to manage risks, especially those that may impact the secure delivery of the project. Provide ongoing updates to project schedules to reflect progress and potential security or project delays. Track project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, ensuring that financial controls align with both project goals and security protocols. Implement Earned Value Management (EVM) to track project performance and provide insights into schedule and cost adherence. Identify project risks, including those that could impact security, and work with internal teams and suppliers to develop appropriate mitigation strategies. Partner with suppliers to ensure their schedules align with the overall project timelines, particularly in the marine sector, where tight schedules and high-security standards are critical. Establish clear communication channels with suppliers to proactively manage any delays or issues, ensuring compliance with security and project requirements. Conduct supplier schedule reviews and audits, ensuring adherence to both technical and security-related specifications. Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure supplier contracts include robust planning, schedule management, and security criteria. You will need: Significant experience in project planning, controls, and scheduling within high-security and/or marine industries. Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial systems (e.g., SAP).
