We are seeking an IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) Operations Operative/ Collections Driver to join our ITAD Operations team in Bathgate, West Lothian.
We are looking for someone to provide operative support to the Operations function as required and to ensure that all deadlines and KPI’s are adhered to.
All Operations staff are expected to become multi-skilled to work in ITAD, Warehouse, Picking, Assembly, Configuration, and test.
You will carry out collections and deliveries as and when required in a professional manner ensuring deadlines and KPI’s are adhered to across all functions.
Key tasks will involve:
ITAD/Collections Driver
Loading/Unloading vehicles and palletising ITAD collections.
Checking, Recording customers assets and waste collection. Weighing
and counting jobs and recording all information accurately.
Use of the dedicated computer system to record asset information.
Use of processing systems for refurbishment, including data wiping.
Repairing systems to maximise the opportunities for re-use.
Dismantling systems and other IT equipment, prior to shredding.
Meeting all departmental KPI as outlined by line management.
Identifying equipment for re-sale on eBay.
Testing of different IT equipment.
Picking and Packaging orders ready for shipping
Quality Assurance
Subjecting manufactured good to the documented test regime.
Ensuring that the overall quality of the product is maintained, at all times, to the highest standards.
Complying with Stone’s internal management systems and safety procedures.
The suitable candidate will have excellent timekeeping and can show the ability to work well under pressure. Having a keen attention to detail and a mature approach to work using efficient working practices is also required. A full driving licence (with no more than 6 points), IT manufacturing experience and knowledge of assembly line work.
It is also desired but not essential to understand 5S and LEAN working practices, have experience of using handheld scanners for electronic proof of delivery and experience with multidrop deliveries.

This is a full-time position - 37 hours per week.
The working days are Monday to Friday
