As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will be providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, ensuring adherence to AML regulations and facilitating seamless onboarding processes.
You will be responsible for:
1. Prepare conveyancing quotations for new clients.
2. Open and manage new files on the case management system.
3. Produce client engagement letters and new client packs.
4. Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, landlords, and solicitors.
5. Order and manage conveyancing searches.
6. Utilise the Land Registry Portal for relevant searches.
7. Answer phone calls, providing updates to clients and third parties.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as a Conveyancing Secretary, Conveyancing Assistant, Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
2. Possess legal experience.
3. Strong IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner.
