Finance Business Partner - Direct Wealth

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join Aviva's Wealth Finance Business Partnering team and play a pivotal role in driving growth and delivering business performance in our Direct Wealth business.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of decision-making within the Direct Wealth business. Your responsibilities will include assisting the business in delivering their commercial plans, analysing and advising on options to invest and grow profitably, and delivering high-quality management information. You will also work closely with the Wealthify finance team to ensure alignment of reporting, forecasting, and performance management.

In this role, you will support the Direct Wealth business in delivering its commercial plans, providing valuable financial insights to drive informed decision-making and shape strategic priorities.
You will play a key role in reviewing investment opportunities, undertaking ongoing planning and forecasting activities, engaging in performance management, and delivering accurate and timely management information. This role demands a proactive and inquisitive mindset to identify risks and opportunities, mitigate emerging issues, and help the business navigate challenges.
As a trusted partner, you will communicate performance insights clearly and effectively to key stakeholders, acting as the financial voice of the business and contributing to its overall success. Beyond the numbers, you will engage with broader strategic objectives, challenging assumptions and supporting initiatives that drive long-term growth and profitability.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Wealth Experience: Proven experience within the Wealth industry is essential, with strong commercial acumen and an understanding of market trends, competitors, and value levers.
* Financial Insights and Communication: Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful management information, planning, and forecasting, and present complex financial data in a clear and engaging way.
* Proactive Problem-Solving: Experience in actively engaging and intervening to deliver financial results, mitigate emerging issues, and avoid surprises.
* Strategic Thinking: A proactive and enquiring mindset, capable of influencing strategic priorities and business outcomes.
* Relationship Building: Strong networking and relationship management skills, with the ability to build credible and trusted working relationships across teams.
What you'll get for this role:
* Salary around £85,000 - £100,000 - depending on skills, experience, and qualifications
* Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
