Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano and Drums Teacher to join our music education team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in piano performance and pedagogy, with the ability to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. This role involves providing individual and group lessons, fostering a love for music, and helping students achieve their musical goals.
Duties
1. Conduct individual and group piano or drums lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of each student.
2. Develop lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, music theory, and repertoire selection.
3. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
4. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression.
5. Prepare students for performances, exams, or competitions as required.
6. Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
7. Stay updated on new teaching techniques, resources, and trends in music education.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience as a piano teacher or performer with a strong understanding of music theory.
2. Proficiency in playing the piano across various genres.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
4. Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching music.
5. A degree in Music Education or a related field is preferred but not essential.
6. Previous experience working with children or young adults is advantageous.
