The Role: Field Service Engineer
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patient mobility and handling equipment remains safe, reliable, and in top working conditions. This is a field-based role where you will be servicing and repairing a wide range of mobility equipment, including patient hoists, profiling beds, wheelchairs, and bathing aids.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing of patient handling and mobility equipment.
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on a variety of equipment.
3. Carry out LOLER testing and inspections.
4. Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.
5. Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.
6. Keep accurate records of all work completed.
7. Maintain a strong knowledge of all company products.
8. Work collaboratively with internal teams.

The Ideal Candidate
1. A strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
2. Previous experience working with mobility or healthcare equipment is advantageous.
3. A thorough understanding of LOLER regulations.
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a customer-first approach.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Full UK driving license with a clean record.
7. Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
8. Existing right to work in the UK.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend availability.
Location
This is a field-based role, covering the North East of England.
