Anchor Specialized Support Services is seeking a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), with 3 or more years of experience working with neurodiverse youth and adults with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities, high risk behaviour, dual diagnosis and mental health needs.
Anchor Specialized Support Services provides quality Applied Behaviour Analytic services to individuals with complex needs through a trauma-assumed, person-centred approach that allows our clients to achieve their goals through evidence-based interventions and compassionate care. The successful individual will be operating under the supervision of Anchor’s Clinical Director and BCBA. The Behaviour Analyst will work as a member of an integrated service delivery team requiring them to be collaborative and solution focused. Duties will include:
1. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, design and implement individualized skill acquisition plans, behavioural support plans and behavioural safety plans.
2. Develop new behavioural programs and perform ongoing adjustments to current programs as needed.
3. Collaborate with community-based treatment teams to review case progress and provide collaborative services.
4. Provide training, supervision, and support for team members, mediators, caregivers, and families in all programming procedures.
5. Communicate with funding sources regarding client progress, reports, meetings, authorizations, etc.
6. Supervise mediators and complete program fidelity checks, BACB supervision of candidates, and train students in the field.
7. Maintain caseload of billable hours in addition to supervisory duties as directed by the Clinical Director.
Qualifications for employment include:
1. Master Degree in Behaviour Analysis.
2. Board Certification as a BCBA in good standing.
3. Ability to adhere to organizational policies and procedures and abide by code of ethics as indicated by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board.
4. Commitment to maintain client confidentiality and adhere to Provincial legislation (e.g., PHIPPA, Services and Supports etc.).
5. Knowledge of instructional procedures and training curriculums (e.g., DTT, AIM, PEAK, EFL, AFLS, VB-MAPP etc.).
6. 3 + years’ experience working with neurodiverse youth/adults.
7. Valid driver’s license and a reliable form of insured transportation.
8. Must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving and time management skills.
9. Aptitude to engage in higher-level management functions when required.
10. Excellent and efficient communication skills.
11. Proficiency in written and spoken English, with fluency in a foreign language a plus.
12. Experience managing a team of clinical staff and mentoring supervisory-level clinicians is a plus.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed
