SALES MANAGER Reporting to the Director of Sales and Customer Success – Legal Professionals Europe, this role will be responsible for managing a team of Software Specialists who, in turn, look after all Clients subscribing to Thomson Reuters Software in the UK and Europe; selling the suite of software as well as a small New Business Team focussing on New Sales across UK and Europe. About The Role You will collaborate with other areas of the business to ensure that strategies are fully implemented. You will implement KPI’s, ensuring regular engagement with clients, pipeline growth and ultimately over-achievement against sales target. You will work closely with your Director to coach team members through tough negotiations and guide them in the right strategic direction. You will have a proven ability to understand and interpret sales figures; a thorough understanding of sales process is vital and you will be responsible for overall customer satisfaction of this market across the UK and Europe. Directly responsible for driving the Sales team to hit Sales quotas - both new and existing uplifts. Front Line Coaching and direct involvement in key deals Focus on Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s); Activity, Pipeline, Win Rates Effectively executing the key initiatives of the sales business including Salesforce, Value Selling, Commercial Simplification, Price Realisation and Talent Upgrade. Accountable for Forecasting and analysis of team trends to your Director Responsible for Performance Management and creation of performance led success culture Effectively manage all direct reports and ensure all team members are knowledgeable on products, industry trends, customers and competitors About You: Proven track record of Successful Sales cycle execution and delivering against targets Minimum 3-5 years Sales experience at the top of your game Experience in successfully managing complex sales engagements with high value Clients Comprehensive network of industry contacts Its a a hybrid role requiring you to be in the London Office min 2 days a week and travel to Client locations when required. Management experience: Preferred but not essential. Evidence of Leading and coaching teams, running complex projects with multiple stakeholders required. You must carry an aspiration to lead and be able to demonstrate this. Team leads experience is the minimum which we can build upon. The role requires a thoughtful approach; Measuring, Analysing and Planning the Quantity, Direction and Quality of the sales teams’ work to drive results.
