We are looking to recruit motivated, caring, and compassionate individuals for the role of Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to assist qualified nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care within clearly defined limits and attainment of defined competence.

Applicants must be motivated and passionate about high-quality patient care, have excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible, and have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a similar setting would be beneficial.

Person Specification
Qualifications
1. Possess/willing to work towards Level 2 diploma, Qualification Credit Framework (QCF), NVQ level 2 in healthcare completed within 2 years
2. Possess or be willing to work towards the care certificate completed within 6 months
3. Be able to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills required for the post completed within 6 months
4. GCSE Maths & English grade C or above / Grade 4 - 9 OR Functional skills level 2 numeracy and Functional Skills level 2 literacy skills
Experience
1. Experience of working in a formal care setting or as an informal carer
2. Previous experience of dealing with the public
3. Demonstrate literacy in IT
