As the part-time Accounts Administrator, you will focus on key aspects of purchase ledger, credit control, and banking functions.
As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for administering the purchase ledger, credit control, and banking across the business, ensuring accurate financial transactions and supporting various management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling all aspects of banking and financial transactions for the business.
2. Bank reconciliation and organising draw-down amounts.
3. Reconciliation of delivery notes to invoices, ensuring values and quantities match.
4. Sending invoices to relevant Senior Management Team (SMT) members for authorisation.
5. Managing the PayPal account and processing purchase orders.
6. Sending weekly data spreadsheets, cash forecasts, sales spreadsheets, and amber warnings to the SMT.
7. Generating and processing bi-weekly supplier payments through online banking methods.
8. Reviewing invoices, assigning nominal codes, and entering PL transactions on Sage.
9. Managing credit control and recovering outstanding debts effectively through strong communication.
10. Processing expense claims and assisting managers with accurate accounting reports from Sage.
11. Month-end preparation and assisting external auditors during the auditing process.
Qualifications:
12. AAT Level 3 (or currently working towards)
Skills & Experience:
13. Strong numerical skills and good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft 365.
14. Experienced in Sage 50 (purchase/accounts and sales) and online banking for business purposes.
15. Ability to work effectively within a team.
Package:
16. Salary: £27,300 FTE (based on 37.5 hours per week, equating to £14.00 per hour).
17. Part-time contract: 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (5 hours per day). Working hours can be mutually agreed.
18. Annual leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, with additional leave accrued after 2, 4, and 6 years of service (up to 28 days).
