in the U.S. and UK.
The On-Site Event Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all Audio Visual & IT services provided to clients and internal teams, including networking, desktop support, AV services (audio/visual), high-speed internet access (HSIA), video conferencing, webcasting, and basic lighting for events.
This role involves managing daily Audio Visual operations, leading a team of Audio V Event Specialists, and ensuring the successful execution of meetings and events. The On Site Events Production Manager also works closely with sales and production teams to ensure smooth delivery of Event
This role offers the chance to lead a dedicated team, deliver top-notch technology solutions, and ensure smooth execution of client events.
Operations Management:
* Provide technical support and troubleshoot AV systems for users.
* Manage AV systems (audio, video, lighting, networking) for in-house and client needs.
* Coordinate with clients to meet technical requirements before events.
* Support sales teams with technology-related client programs.
* Follow booking guidelines to optimize space and revenue.
* Build strong relationships with team members, vendors, and clients.
* Attend meetings to confirm event technical requirements.
* Supervise AV Specialists in daily operations and scheduling.
* Develop weekly schedules, coordinating across locations for resource efficiency.
* Communicate with clients during events to ensure satisfaction.
* Collaborate with sales and planning teams to understand client expectations.
* Prepare detailed sales quotes that align with policies and boost revenue.
* Assist with daily operations as needed .
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities:
* Monitor and report client program financials, including labor costs and profitability.
* Review and verify P&L statements and general ledger reports.
* Approve and submit vendor invoices promptly to Accounts Payable.
* Assist in the AV department's annual budgeting process.
* Maintain company culture and values in daily operations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* 4+ years managing IT and AV systems (software and hardware).
* Proven leadership experience in team management and development.
* Preferred experience in customer service or hospitality.
* In-depth knowledge of AV equipment (audio mixers, microphones, video switchers, projectors).
* Familiarity with Crestron systems and related hardware.
* Basic understanding of networking, system architecture, and applications.
* Experience with OS (Mac/PC), LANs, and servers installation and management.
* Strong leadership, collaboration, and client/vendor relationship skills.
* Familiarity with CRM systems.
Technical Skills:
* Audio : Proficient with 4-24 channel mixers, wireless mics, push-to-talk systems, audio recorders, and Biamp Tesira.
* Video : Skilled with video switchers, projectors, LCD displays, and Crestron DM/NVX systems.
* Lighting : Experienced with uplights, GOBOs, and basic dimming controls.
* IT : Knowledgeable in Wi-Fi troubleshooting, DHCP/static IP addressing, and video codecs.
* Control Systems : Expert in Crestron control systems and hardware.
