Senior Bid Manager
Location: Witham
Overview:
As the Senior Bid Manager, you will act as the lead for the project/bid team, ensuring that the bid is prepared in accordance with an agreed timetable and that it is complete and addressed in the Contractor's Proposals. You will be responsible for managing the whole process and ensuring that you are regularly and effectively communicating with both the client and customers.
Your day to day will include:
* Assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid.
* Follow the agreed bid management procedures and ensure they are implemented at each stage of the bid process.
* Chair bid kick-off meetings, solution development, and mid-bid meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
* Develop a tender period programme, communicate actions to the team, and monitor progress.
* Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments.
