Customer Care Security Officer
Location: Sizewell, Suffolk
Salary: £29,964 (£13.72 per hour). Plus, overtime paid at x1.5.
Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off: 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off.
Permanent / Full Time
This is an opportunity to join a professional team at Sizewell, Suffolk. The role will see you working a mix of days, nights & weekends on a rota basis. You will be a part of a skilled team providing a dedicated security service. If you are a customer-focused professional, please apply.
Prior security experience is not essential as training and an SIA license can be provided.
Essential criteria:
1. Happy working a mixture of days, nights & weekends on a rota basis - 4 on / 4 off
2. Have strong customer service skills
3. Prior security experience is not essential as training and an SIA license can be provided.
Duties to include:
1. Meeting and greeting visitors and staff to the site
2. Access / Egress security control
3. Issuing visitor passes
4. Regular site security officer patrols
5. Front of house security duties
6. Security Control room activities including the remote monitoring of alarm activations
7. Responding to fire alarm activations, security incidents and emergencies
8. Providing friendly customer service to members of staff and visitors
9. Carrying out plant room and facilities checks when required
10. Completing security incident forms, notebook entries or Accident Report Forms as required
11. Ensuring all Health & Safety policies are adhered to
12. Working in conjunction with site Assignment Instructions
13. Responding to emergency situations
14. Other general security officer duties when required
