History Teacher - Faringdon Location: Faringdon, Oxfordshire Salary: £140 - £225 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities) Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent Opportunities Available Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Faringdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator or a passionate Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to inspire students through engaging and dynamic history lessons. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality History lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 teaching. Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and teaching strategies. Maintain high expectations of student behaviour and achievement. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students. Passion for the subject and a commitment to student success. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
