Your typical day as our Systems Support Technician:
We're looking for a passionate & enthusiastic individual, to join our Systems Support Team in Tadcaster. We are a technology led, industry leading company who are looking for a 1st/2nd line technician who is looking for their next challenge within a business that offers great progression and a pathway to expand your knowledge with excellent training. We are looking for a knowledgeable and user-orientated individual who will work within a team supporting both our office users and technicians out in the field ensuring smooth operations and resolving technical issues efficiently.
Duties will include:
· Acting as first point of contact for all IT related queries and issues, you'll be providing timely and effective support to end users.
· Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and network problems, escalating to 3rd parties appropriately if needed.
· Configuration and maintenance of Windows Laptops, Android devices and iPhones.
· Support and troubleshoot business applications.
· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights, adhering to company policies and security standard
* You'll be key in assisting in the implementation of a varied range of innovative IT projects and upgrades ensuring minimal downtime.
Working alongside passionate colleagues, you'll help ensure that our service not only meets but exceeds expectations, aligning with our mission to "Keep Britain Pouring" through exceptional service and technology.
You'll already have:
* Proven experience in providing 1st/2nd line support in a similar role and adhering to ITIL standards.
* Solid understanding of Office 365 suite & Windows 10.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor your approach.
* Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Strong problem-solving skills with exceptionally good attention to detail
Preferable:
* Knowledge of MDM solutions (SOTI)
* Knowledge of Mitel Phone System.
