All students that attend the school have a designated Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) which details their specific needs in terms of the care and support they will have access to. The pupils at the school can struggle to form string, healthy relationships and can present high levels of anxiety and challenging behaviour.What is involved: Primary Teacher - Nurture Teacher - Intervention Teacher - SEMH - WokingDelivering the primary curriculum as intervention lessons for KS3/4 aged pupils, bridging gaps in learning, building confidence and self esteemDelivering a range of subjects including maths and EnglishManaging children's behaviour during the school day and supporting their learning and participation in classEncouraging the development of social skills and supporting students' individual needsParticipating in team meetings and training programmes as an active member of a teamSupporting regulations pertaining to safeguarding.What is required: Education and TrainingQualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service trainingExperience of working in a special school environment and in particular with pupils with ASC and SENDExperience of successfully delivering a differentiated curriculum to pupils with a wide range of needsFurther qualifications in SEND desirableWorking knowledge of ASC/SEMH students with complex needsEvidence of sound knowledge of the national curriculumKnowledge, understanding and experience of autism and associated co-morbid conditions and how these can affect learning.Summary: Primary Teacher - WokingPrimary Teacher - Nurture Teacher - Intervention - Mental Health£140 - £220 per day - 8.30am-4.30pm - Term time onlySpecial needs school - Autism - challenging behaviourFull time and part time roles, flexible working hours and short and long term contractsApril 25 or later in the year depending on your availabilityApply via this advert or call Ben Mason on 01483 362393 for more details.TPBN1_UKTJ
