Social Media & Email Marketing Executive
Salary: £30,000
Location: Reading – Hybrid Working, 2 days in office
Hays Marketing are pleased to be working with a local tech provider who, due to team expansion, are searching for a Marketing professional with an eye for social media and email marketing. Based 2 days a week in their office in North Reading, the successful candidate can expect to be involved with creating social media and B2B marketing campaigns alongside their existing marketing team.
This role would really suit a Marketing Assistant looking to take on more responsibility and experience different areas of marketing within an experienced, collaborative team.
The Role
1. Develop and execute a social content calendar for marketing campaigns, product launches, company awareness and industry thought leadership.
2. Enhance social media engagement by growing followers, improving content quality, and driving targeted conversions.
3. Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Pardot and Salesforce CRM to promote products, educational resources and brand awareness.
4. Track digital engagement of key accounts to optimise the customer journey.
5. Monitor and report on campaign performance, analysing engagement and conversions to recommend improvements and propose new tactics to the Digital Marketing Manager & Head of Marketing Operations.
6. Conduct A/B testing to identify the most effective strategies.
7. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure consistent branding, team deadlines and adherence to internal approval processes.
8. Perform competitive social media and email marketing landscape analysis to recommend performance adjustments.
The Candidate
1. Proven experience in B2B social media and email marketing with a track record of success.
2. Consistently deliver high-quality, creative content that captures the audience's attention.
3. Strong understanding of email marketing platforms and social media analytics.
4. Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with stakeholders, managing deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
5. Ability to analyse engagement data to provide monthly reports on content and channel performance, with recommendations for improvement.
6. Basic understanding of design and creative software.
