The Network Revenue Manager role is an integral part of the business, focusing on service profitability, punctuality, quality, and efficiency.
The role holder will optimize supply and demand using data and advocate for technology to enhance business performance.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Lead the local Network Planning function within a divisional framework, promoting data, technology, and process automation.
2. Ensure service profitability and drive improvements at the bus service level.
3. Monitor and improve punctuality using advanced technology (Prospective IO).
4. Oversee the road network performance within the Local Business Unit, working with local authorities to improve journey speed and reduce variability.
5. Identify and implement local network growth initiatives based on analysis, supporting national development opportunities.
6. Maximize revenue and reduce costs through optimal vehicle deployment and support divisional decarbonization efforts.
7. Collaborate with the pricing team to ensure pricing strategies enhance network profitability.
8. Proactively solve problems to meet business objectives with a positive attitude.
9. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders including commercial, finance, depot leadership, revenue, marketing, PR, and customer services.
10. Lead discussions with local authorities, providing data-driven evidence for proposals and performance improvements.
11. Develop network or route proposals with cost/benefit analysis for approval, and oversee post-implementation reviews.
12. Manage tender bid preparations and monitor ongoing performance.
13. Ensure timely bus service registrations.
14. Use customer insights to optimize the network and improve customer satisfaction.
