Join to apply for the Theatre Assistant role at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual who has a keen interest in developing their knowledge and skills in the surgical care of patients and being an integral member of a specialised day surgery unit. You will also be involved in outpatient clinics and logistics.
You will complete an in-house training programme which incorporates all essential competencies required to be able to deliver safe, individualised, patient-centred care.
You will provide support within theatres, escorting patients, supporting the scrub nurse, and being an integral part of the team providing support in recovery. You will also be supporting clinicians in outpatient clinics, assisting with audit and involved in ordering and maintaining stock.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Provide support to patients, their families, and carers.
* Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure we maintain the highest standards of patient care.
* Be pro-active in their own learning and development.
* This is a physical role transferring patients.
