AV Technical Project Manager
£32,000 - £45,000 per annum
Reading (preferably 2 days a week when located nearer otherwise remote in the midlands)

The Technical Project Manager will be the technical figurehead within the company, specifically relating to the delivery of Audio Visual projects.

The Role
Manage key projects with an administrative team to a high standard, ensuring excellent customer service, quality on site, and protection of margins. The candidate will manage larger projects (100k plus) top to bottom and provide technical support to project and service coordinators where applicable. Be involved in all handovers with the sales team and initial call setups with the customer, prior to handing it over to the coordination team for installation.
* Oversee the admin team working on project delivery and provide support for the service contract coordinator where required.
* Manage drawings, elevations, cable schedules, RAMS, project meetings, and scheduling.
* Manage all engineers in-house and external, ensuring appropriate insurances, vehicles, and PPE are used when required.
* Demonstrate an understanding of all company products, services, and business processes, as well as having a high level of technical knowledge to deliver solutions accurately.
* Work with sales on a pre-sales basis when required for site visits and drawings.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
* Manage margins/budgets of each project.
* Ensure quality of equipment, cables, quotes, and engineers adhere to company standards.
* Organise and deliver all projects alongside the administrators to meet company standards.
* Provide technical specifications for all jobs, including cable schedules and drawings where required.
* Keep all R & M and training up to date.
* Demonstrate pro-active behaviour in driving repeat business through quality work and customer satisfaction.
* Display a high technical understanding of all the company's products and services.
* Attend supplier and vendor training sessions to stay updated on all technology and products.
* Become certified on supplier/manufacturer accreditations to bolster the company's standing within that supplier/manufacturer.
* Identify gaps in knowledge and work with management teams to address these gaps.
