My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers support to various vulnerable client groups with complex needs around substance misuse, mental health, and homelessness. Vacancy Brief: The role is that of a Floating Bank Support Worker and this is a temp opportunity. Client Group: 18 Mental Health and substance misuse. Supporting clients in their own homes and out in the community. This is a Floating role, a Full UK Drivers license and access to a vehicle is essential. Candidate would need to be flexible to work across the week. Projects are in the S40, S44 AND DE56 areas of Chesterfield. Pay rate for this role is £11.50 per hour PAYE OR £14.70 Umbrella. A current Children and Adults Enhanced DBS will be required for this role. The Responsibilities: In your role as a Bank Support Worker, you will be providing direct emotional & practical support to people in the service. As a Bank Support Worker you will be offering Crisis Support and referrals/links to specialist support where required. Delivering and recording an accurate and timely handover to ensure smooth transition of support. An important part of your job role as a Bank support worker will be to maintain accurate, up-to-date records on contact & progress. Function as a named Keyworker to people in the service where required. In your job role a Bank Support Worker you will monitor /review individuals physical, emotional, and psychological condition. You will work alongside people, exploring opportunities to improve their quality of life, develop their skills and make positive decisions about their future. Furthermore, you will provide general, practical, and holistic support to people in order to promote their recovery and / or independence.
