We're seeking a passionate Talent Acquisition Relationship Manager (RM) to join our Talent Acquisition team. Reporting to TA Regional Leader, this role functions as an Account Manager for an assigned multi-site geography, working as a Talent Acquisition SME collaborating with Business Leaders and TA Delivery Teams (In-House & Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)) ensuring detailed translation and execution of business needs to hiring results. The Relationship Manager will directly contribute to the business results motivated by the growth trajectory of Thermo Fisher Scientific!
This role is required to be located within a commutable distance from our site in either Basingstoke or Swindon. The role will cover multiple sites therefore a % of travel is required.
A Day in the Life:
1. Partner closely with senior leaders, hiring managers and HR to understand hiring demand within their designated sites.
2. Ensuring the TA Teams are aware of upcoming requisition volumes across all hiring segments to allow them to be resourced and prepared.
3. Drive accountability and alignment to SLAs and critical metrics from both the In-House and RPO provider.
4. Collaborate with TA Teams to create and implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain strong talent pipelines.
5. Close connection with TA Business Partners, ensuring TA strategy alignment at the division and group levels.
6. Lead project based, volume hiring initiatives.
7. Support the team in managing priorities to meet business needs.
8. Design solutions to hiring challenges and timelines.
9. Proactively managing customer relationships, proactively anticipating and addressing issues and concerns.
10. Analysing and interpreting data to identify hiring trends across multiple sites to help execute more effective hiring strategies.
Experience
11. University degree or equivalent experience.
12. Experience in full cycle recruiting.
13. Prior experience in RPO, business partnering, project or relationship management preferred.
14. Experience in creating and implementing sourcing strategy to meet hiring needs across multiple sites
15. Experience in establishing and maintaining successful relationships.
16. Knowledge of labour market, talent channels and candidate insights.
17. Ability to use and interpret data to drive improvements and define strategy.
18. Effective communicator - navigates through ambiguity, change and barriers to execution.
19. Ability to navigate partners through complicated situations, driving successful outcomes while effectively setting expectations.
20. Understanding of local UK Employment legislation
