Compliance Officer/Paraplanner – Financial Services
Location: Ferndown (Hybrid or Fully Remote Options Available)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:
Compliance:
1. Oversee Compliance: Manage daily compliance functions and ensure regulatory standards are met.
2. Regulatory Updates: Keep up-to-date with FCA regulations and update company policies as needed.
3. Training & Support: Conduct training sessions and provide mentorship to advisors.
4. Audit Management: Confidently manage external compliance audits.
Paraplanning:
1. Client Reviews: Produce annual or semi-annual reviews of client investments and pensions for advisor use, including performance and allocation reviews, risk assessments, and cashflow forecasting.
2. Suitability Reports: Write detailed reports for pensions, investments, and protection advice, including new plans and adjustments.
3. Research: Conduct thorough research for new pension and investment plans, including product features, underlying investments, and wrapper allocation.
4. Data Analysis: Use tools like FE Analytics, Defaqto Engage, Adviser Asset, and CashCalc (training provided if needed).
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience: Previous experience as a Compliance Officer or Paraplanner is essential.
2. Flexibility: Ability to work part-time and adapt to a flexible schedule.
3. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
4. Skills: Strong compliance and paraplanning skills, with proficiency in relevant tools (or willingness to learn).
