We are looking for a new member, who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to embed our new and empowering way of learning to join our amazing staff team at our town centre based nursery.
We require someone to work minimum 35 hours a week Monday-Friday - Term Time.
Nursery is open between the hours of 7.30am and 6.00pm, we are looking for candidates who are flexible to fit in with our requirements.
Candidates will need to have a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate and will ideally be registered for the update service for their DBS certificate.
Within the Birkbees Group we promote and enhance children’s learning and development holistically through play-based activities. We view all aspects of learning and development equally and ensure a flexible approach is maintained which responds quickly to children’s learning and developmental needs. We develop tailor-made activities based on observations which inform future planning and draw on children’s needs and interests. This is promoted through a balance of adult-led and child-initiated opportunities both indoors and outdoors. All teams are highly motivated to deliver our ethos.
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS prime areas is essential, as well as a good understanding of child development and the ability to plan for it. You will need to have previous work experience of this age group and be an effective teacher. You will be a Key person to a number of children and will need to record children's development electronically on Connect software.
To work in our busy nursery you must be experienced in a day nursery setting with a minimum of 1 years post qualifying experience in a paid capacity and be a minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualified.

£10.00 - £12.50 per hour depending on age, qualification and experience
