Security Manager
Leicester
An opportunity has arisen for a Security Manager to join the team at Galliford Try. Ideally, you will be based in the East of our East Midlands Region and will have opportunity to travel to Sites across the area. Please note time on Site, Site visits and travel to and from Site is estimated to form around 80% of the working week for this post.
You Will:
* Control, Monitoring and Administration of BPSS and SC security clearances and EL1 MOJ clearances.
* Control and Maintain Security Clearance Log for Business Unit Projects.
* Follow up aftercare and renewals with individuals within GT whom have security clearance.
* Liaise with DIO for auditing, leavers, change of circumstances and day-to-day administration.
* Liaise with MOJ for auditing, leavers, change of circumstances and day-to-day administration.
* Provide help and guidance in regard to security vetting for GT employees and supply chain.
* Undertake specific Security Vetting Training as required.
* Act as main point of contact for all Nominated Security Vetting Officers/Site Admin and ensure individual project vetting registers are maintained within central database.
* Provide back-up support to projects when required.
* Undertake Special Briefings with individuals on behalf of DIO in relation to those who have restrictions associated with their SC clearance.
* Act as main point of contact for the BU with Sponsor, DIO Personnel Security Department.
* Archive / destruction of records - follow GDPR guidelines on Vetting paperwork as part of aftercare.
About You:
* Previous experience in an Administrative role essential.
* Previous experience working with sensitive personal data essential.
* Currently hold or willing to attain SC security clearance (requires minimum 5 years UK residency).
