DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an enthusiastic Time and Attendance Apprentice to join our team specializing in Time and Attendance for our Cummins Services in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!
Summary of the course:
The Time & Attendance Apprentice role is a development position inside the CS HR Services function. The role is a great opportunity to experience and insights into different service functions including Payroll, Health & Wellbeing, and Global Mobility & Immigration Services. During the apprenticeship, you will learn about the different aspects of Time & Attendance processes, systems, and work closely with Human Resource Teams and employees.
During the apprenticeship, you will work 5 days per week, inclusive of 1 day per week for study at Darlington College. Working hours must fall between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 (with flexibility to suit the business needs). On completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a Business Administration Level 3 qualification.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
1. Providing comprehensive support and assistance to customers across various regions in Europe to ensure their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
2. Leading the implementation and integration of new systems, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal functionality for all users.
3. Conducting thorough data analysis and preparing detailed reports to provide valuable insights for decision-making and strategic planning.
4. Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
5. Establishing and nurturing networks both within and beyond the team to enhance collaboration and drive collective success.
6. Continuously striving to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions to drive ongoing enhancement of processes and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
1. Successful completion of GCSEs (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English with a grade of C/4 or higher.
2. Proficient in the practical use of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, perform data analysis, and generate reports.
3. Demonstrates a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and responsibilities.
4. Capable of working independently by taking initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team environment to achieve common goals.
