The opportunity
Due to our client's expanding team, they're currently seeking experienced Pharmacy Dispensers to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, the purpose of your role will be to ensure that all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately in line with current Standard Operating Procedures.
Roles - Shift with additional shift allowance OR Day Roles available.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring all prescribed products are picked and dispensed accurately for our customers across the UK & Ireland.
2. Working closely with internal departments including Patients' Services, the Production Unit, and Warehouse to ensure patients' supply requirements are met.
3. Liaising with other Dispensers, Accuracy Checking Technicians, and Pharmacists to ensure efficient use of resources across all the dispensing and prescription management sections.
4. Undertaking all activities related to the prescription management of Homecare prescriptions.
5. Communicating effectively with Hospitals and Surgeries to ensure a valid prescription is available for the supply of medicines to each patient.
6. Promptly responding to any email and telephone queries that arise as part of the prescription processing procedures.
You will have the following qualifications and experience:
1. Strong IT skills are essential; experience with SAP would be an advantage, however not essential.
2. Excellent telephone manner is essential.
3. GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure with great attention to detail.
