We are looking to recruit a Planned and Reactive Works Supervisor to join us on a permanent basis, based at our office in NE29 8SF.
About the Role
Joining us as a supervisor, you will drive excellent service standards and achievement of KPIs including; factors influencing profitability and basic budget management, S,H&E management, compliance and help maintain excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reactive Works:
* Supervise and coordinate the response to urgent, unplanned maintenance requests to ensure rapid resolution of issues.
* Act as the point of contact for facility-related emergencies, ensuring timely and effective action.
* Prioritize tasks based on urgency, safety, and operational requirements.
2. Planned Works:
* Oversee and ensure the completion of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring all work is carried out on time and in line with specifications.
* Manage the planning, preparation, and execution of regular inspections and routine maintenance activities.
* Monitor equipment and systems performance and report any potential issues that require proactive attention.
3. Compliance & Safety:
* Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance certifications.
* Ensure that all facilities meet the required quality and safety standards at all times.
4. Communication & Reporting:
* Act as a liaison between the facilities management team, senior management, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
* Provide regular reports on the status of maintenance works, compliance audits, and any issues requiring attention.
* Maintain clear and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Candidates will have extensive proven experience within a similar role, preferably a supervisory role within facilities management or maintenance. You’ll have excellent time management, organisation and IT skills and a proactive and flexible approach.
We’re looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for their work, committed to collaborative working with colleagues, suppliers, and residents alike.
You must hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.
