The Role:\n\n * Responsible for the control of accounts receivables ledgers across offices, to maximise cash flow and profit, reduce the risk of bad debt and ensure that accounts are properly maintained.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Collect cash by telephone and written contact with clients.\n\n * Responsible for ensuring the minimisation of risk to clients from credit exposure.\n\n * To work with the Head Credit Controller to resolve queries and maximise the collections for internal and external clients.\n\n * Undertake Receivables work including review of sales ledgers, debt verifications, credit management etc.\n\n * Ensure you are aware of and work according to all Compliance requirements.\n\n * Ensure that your performance operates in accordance with existing SLA’s.\n\n * Ensure reporting is accurate and on time to Clients and initial feedback times are adhered to.\n\n * Working to form an efficient, cohesive team.\n\n * Within specified time frame of take on of a ledger provide feedback to the funder/IP to ensure their expectations are managed. This includes collectability, disputes, if there are any potential bad debts etc.\n\n * Communicate effectively and accurately in team meetings.\n\n * At monthly Client review meeting provide current job progress to date and an update on the collection strategy.\n\n * Significant credit control experience, supported by references.\n\n * Knowledge of accounting systems Sage/Xero would be preferable.\n\n * IT literate and proficient in Word and Excel.\n\n * Experience in a professional services firm is an advantage.\n\n * Demonstrates good knowledge, along with expertise and integrity.\n\n * Uses knowledge to support team and also works to develop own knowledge and others within the team.\n\n * Builds and sustains deepening relationships with clients and introducers.\n\n * Ensures that client’s needs and financial targets are fully met.\n\n * Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.\n\n * Develops an appropriate level of network, generates opportunities from existing and/or new clients.\n\n * Takes personal responsibility for delivering excellence in both client projects and internal operations.\n\n * Leads team by setting direction and inspiring individual’s commitment to this.\n\n * Works with the team to achieve goals, putting the team ahead of personal interest whilst demonstrating high levels of integrity and professionalism.\n\n * Willingness to study to obtain professional qualifications in relations to the role
