Role Overview
Our client is seeking a motivated Assistant Operations Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and solution-oriented individual with a good eye for detail and a passion for process improvement and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Operations Manager in managing daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient execution.
* Tracking and evaluating operational performance metrics, pinpointing opportunities for improvement.
* Leading and inspiring a team of five direct reports within the Warehouse and Customer Service teams to achieve objectives.
* Offering support and guidance to the operational team.
* Assisting with training and onboarding of new employees.
* Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and safety standards.
* Overseeing the maintenance of ISO9001:2015 quality management system and leading annual audits to uphold certification.
* Managing supplier compliance with Medical Device Legislation and maintaining proper records.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
* Contributing to the development and implementation of new operational strategies.
* Conducting regulatory assessments and audits.
* Preparing and analysing operational reports, offering insights and recommendations.
* Tracking and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Presenting data and findings to management.
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
* Supporting the maintenance of accurate records.
Required Skills And Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience managing a team within an SME.
* Proven expertise in maintaining an ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
* Experience with ERP and WMS systems.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Preferred qualification in Business Administration or a related field.
