Role Overview Role Statement: Working as part of the Commercial Team, this role will liaise with mainstream suppliers to organise fuel deliveries into the UK Fuels network. The supply co-ordinator will be required to optimise UK Fuels deliveries across the network, strategically planning supplier volumes to enhance UK Fuels purchasing basket. A high standard of communication, analytical capability is required, as the individual would need to liaise with suppliers, ensuring deliveries arrive within the time windows agreed and internal volume targets are hit. The successful candidate will be required to control stock balances sites and ensure exposure levels are kept to a minimum. A willingness to understand the effect that deliveries have on the UK Fuels Purchasing requirement is key, as the performance of the Commercial department’s purchasing model is dependent on accurate network stock figures. The role has potential to take on additional responsibilities, such as being the first port of call with all mainstream suppliers on all delivery commercial items. Key Role Responsibilities Typical work activities include: Be the first point of contact for sites looking to book deliveries. Negotiate and control the correct site stock levels to minimize the exposure for UK Fuels. Management of supplier accounts and volumes, whilst upholding them to SLA’s and reporting on their performance internally. Forecasting and confirming actual ‘delivered in’ figures to the Purchasing team. Report on stock held within the network at Group and individual site level. Managing the stock levels and deliveries of UK Fuels managed sites. Distributing key metric reports to key suppliers to uphold standards of performance. Reconcile deliveries with mainstream suppliers on a monthly basis, within agreed time frame. Work with site groups to effectively fulfil stocking requirements. Look to continuously develop the deliveries team by identifying effeciencies and introducing new processes. What do we expect of you?
