SEN Teaching Assistant We are looking for a passionate SEN teaching assistant to join as part of a school team in Chessington, starting as soon as possible to support the education and training sector to make a positive impact on the student's education. The school are looking for applicants who are proactive and can show their enthusiasm when it comes to supporting students. About the role: Start date: Immediate start Located in Chessington. Working with SEN pupils ranging from age of 9 up till the age of 19. SEN teaching assistants must be able to effectively manage the needs of students which could include but are not limited to: PMLD, Autism, Learning Difficulties, Physical Needs, Some Non-verbal, Challenging behaviour and Help with personal care. Role requires working part time- Monday and Thursday Class sizes vary from 8- 10 students (many opportunities for 1-1 work with students) Salary- £85-£100 per day The successful SEN teaching assistant will need: Passion for education and training - ideal candidate must be proactive and engaging Must be able to show empathy and consideration to all students Strong communication/listening skills Previous experience in a similar role with SEN is ideal/ must have a good understanding of SEN. ability to commute to Chessington Why join this school as a SEN teaching assistant?
