We are recruiting a permanent Senior Energy Manager to join our friendly and support team, working to develop and deliver projects to decarbonise our energy use and create energy cost savings.

You will have line manager responsibilities for our Building Management System Engineer and take authority for leading the Energy Team. The role is perfect for someone with experience of energy or mechanical systems who wants to take on more responsibility and get exposure to senior management.
You will need to attend the Bristol site some of the days in any given week, with the occasional need to travel to Weston-Super-Mare. However, this role offers flexible working from home, you manage your own schedule.
This role can also be offered with flexible working hours or on a part-time basis. If you have childcare commitments or can't work on a specific weekday, we can accommodate this.
Main duties of the job
Your main duties will be:
* Actively monitoring and managing energy use across our entire estate.
* Developing and implementing decarbonisation and energy saving projects.
* Overseeing our building management system maintenance contractor.
* Management of our energy assets including solar PV, district heating network and CHP engines.
