An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Nursery Nurse to work with the 0-5 Doncaster and the Stop Smoking in Pregnancy team.
We are seeking to employ enthusiastic and innovative Community Nursery Nurses to support and work within the 0-5 Health Visiting Pathway. As a Community Nursery Nurse, you will work with Health Visitors and our Health Promotion Practitioners to deliver the Healthy Child Programme, using evidence-based tools to support our children's development.
Applications are welcomed from candidates holding the BTEC Childhood Studies, NNEB, relevant NVQ III, or diploma in Childcare and Education who are proactive and enthusiastic with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills and are keen to work in Doncaster. Experience of working in the community is also desirable.
Main Duties of the Job
* To work with the 0-5 Health Visiting team collaboratively and with other agencies and professionals to help improve the health and well-being of the population.
* To facilitate groups according to identified need.
* Provide specific and routine stimulus and coordinated play activities in the home environment and group settings.
* To co-deliver the Healthy Child Programme through sessions, groups, or in the home environment.
* To participate in health education and promotion particularly in relation to child health and with families where it impacts on children such as Smoking Cessation and/or healthy eating.

Salary: £26,530 to £29,114 per annum pro rata
