The Role:
AsService Manager, youll take ownership of the day-to-day running of the business ensuring service and installation work is delivered smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Youll oversee the office and field-based teams, manage job scheduling, coordinate logistics, and act as a key point of contact for clients. This is a hands-on, leadership role where youll play a central part in the growth and success of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage daily operations across service, installations, and office functions
* Schedule and coordinate workshop equipment installations
* Plan and manage PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and emergency breakdown visits
* Lead and support the office and admin team to ensure smooth internal processes
* Liaise directly with clients to confirm project details, provide updates, and handle any issues
* Oversee installation works and ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification
* Manage logistics and stock coordination
* Book in jobs, allocate engineers, and ensure clear communication across all departments
* Support the overall growth and strategic direction of the business
About You:
* Strong operational background, ideally within garage equipment, automotive services or a related industry
* Experience managing service teams and coordinating field-based work
* Proven ability to run multiple projects and schedules concurrently
* Confident communicator with clients, suppliers and internal teams
* Organised, proactive and commercially aware
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
* Strong IT and admin skills
