Volunteer to help Sue Ryder be there when it matters. As a Furniture and DIY Volunteer in our Sue Ryder charity shop in Wickford at The Willow Shopping Centre, you will support us to display, build, and sell furniture.
We have a busy furniture department and are fortunate with amazing furniture donations. We need Furniture and DIY volunteers who can help us weekly at the shop. This role will include moving furniture (note: heavy lifting involved), helping to display items in-store, and assisting customers who wish to buy them. For those with DIY skills, we have a range of furniture that needs building each week, which would suit a person who can clearly understand written instructions and has some experience with building flat pack items.
If you can help us for a few hours (or more!) each week, we would love to hear from you and offer you a taster session. Join us and become one of the store’s friendly faces who will help us provide the best customer experience while playing an important role in raising funds for our charity work.
