Job Title: Ventilation Products Sales Professional - Social Housing
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a Ventilation Products Sales Professional - Social Housing. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling our ventilation products to planned works managers, reactive repairs managers, and other key stakeholders in the social housing market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Implement a Strategic Sales Plan: Meet and exceed sales targets within your designated territory by developing a comprehensive sales strategy that takes into account market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
* Build Relationships with Key Decision-Makers: Identify, contact, and manage relationships with housing providers, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers to drive specification of our products.
* Conduct Presentations and Product Demonstrations: Educate and influence specifiers on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products through engaging presentations and product demonstrations.
* Collaborate with Internal Teams: Provide customized solutions and support to specifiers during the project development phase by working closely with internal teams.
* Actively Track and Manage Project Pipelines: Ensure timely follow-ups and accurate tracking of project pipelines to maximize sales opportunities.
* Provide Accurate and Timely Sales Forecasts: Report sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management to inform business decisions.
* Monitor Industry Trends and Competitor Activities: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for business growth.
Requirements:
* Experience: 5+ years of experience working within the specification market or within an industry selling into local authority.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience working within the electrical or building materials industry.
* Proven Track Record: Proven ability to manage a territory and grow sales.
* Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and effectively influence key stakeholders.
* Results-Oriented Mindset: Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM, Excel, Word software, and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
* Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a quarterly bonus, fully expensed company car, mobile phone, tablet, and laptop, annual leave (25 days and bank holidays), company pension, life assurance, health assured employee assistance programme, Boost Works online discount platform, and a company referral scheme (up to £500).
