The Platform Adoption team are integral to the success of our insurance strategy to ‘protect today and secure tomorrow’. Colleagues represent and promote the SW propositions across the financial services industry, engaging with Advisers, Paraplanners and Administration staff to ensure the smooth transition to the SW Platform.
The core purpose of this exciting new role is to lead a team of seven Platform Adoption Consultants who represent the Service and implementation proposition with Distributors through securing and leading implementation adoption of our Retail Platform and assisting our distribution team meet sales targets.
You'll be accountable for managing and driving targeted new business activity, supporting the development of our colleagues and working with other parts of the Group, to grow our funds under management and provide leadership to specialist support to deliver our workplace strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
* Lead, Supervise and drive platform adoption through the platform consultants.
* In consultation with the Intermediary Sales team, take ownership of creating and delivering an ongoing engagement programme for Platform adoption consultants to support the workplace growth ambitions of the business.
* Provide technical and signposting support to the wider Distribution team as they seek to develop their knowledge and skill base.
* Facilitate the sharing of best practice and collaborate closely with specialist and generalist management to ensure key messages are optimally delivered.
* Provide a pivot point between the Distribution, Proposition and Marketing teams to ensure consistency and coherence of understanding around propositional changes and our development priorities.
* Support key events and meetings and be available to support Platform Adoption Consultants.
* Help with the onboarding of key advisers and partners, ensuring full delivery of the On Boarding training matrix.
What you’ll need:
* Detailed knowledge of the Intermediary market including regulatory, technical and legislative issues, the competitor landscape and developments therein, and the ability to articulate SW’s strengths versus competitors.
* Experience in consultative selling and the ability to mentor this methodology.
* Experience of leading people handling intermediary relationships.
* Ability to craft, implement and deliver an effective training programme and supervise its success in line with agreed measures set by senior management.
* Strong leadership skills with experience of mentoring and developing your platform adoption consultant team.
* Strong analytical skills proven through the ability to review a range of information and metrics and identify and prioritise appropriate actions.
