To successfully launch and scale this product, we are seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Specialist with a strong network and proven track record in NHS procurement, pharma wholesalers, and online pharmacy retailers.
Role Overview:
The Business Development & Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving market growth for the Yuwell Anytime CGM, leveraging their existing industry relationships to secure NHS contracts, establish wholesale distribution, and open doors with online pharmacy retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leverage established NHS procurement contacts to secure contracts and listings within NHS Supply Chain, NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs).
2. Navigate NHS tendering processes, procurement frameworks, and supply chain requirements to ensure seamless product adoption.
3. Work closely with hospital purchasing teams, primary care networks (PCNs), and community pharmacies to drive product uptake.
4. Utilize existing relationships with major pharmaceutical wholesalers to secure large-scale product distribution.
5. Identify and engage online pharmacy retailers to establish direct-to-consumer (DTC) and prescription-based sales channels.
6. Work with private healthcare providers, retail pharmacy chains, and distributor networks to maximize product reach.
7. Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share across both NHS and private healthcare sectors.
8. Lead sales efforts, from prospecting to closing high-value contracts.
9. Conduct product training and demonstrations for procurement teams, pharmacy buyers, and healthcare professionals.
10. Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
11. Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to align sales and distribution strategies.
12. Provide market intelligence and feedback to refine sales approaches and improve product positioning.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in business development or sales within the medical devices, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors.
2. Established industry relationships within NHS procurement, pharmaceutical wholesalers, and online pharmacy retailers.
3. Strong understanding of NHS tendering, procurement frameworks, and supply chain operations.
4. Experience working with major pharmaceutical distributors, hospital procurement teams, and healthcare e-commerce platforms.
5. Ability to independently identify, develop, and close large-scale sales opportunities.
6. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
7. Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced commercial environment.
