Job summary
Care Plus Group Primary Care practicesprovides the first point of contact for registered patients accessing thehealth care service. The service will work collaboratively with patients toassist them in managing and preventing illnesses and coordinating access tospecialised care.
The Care Plus Group Primary Carepractices, Open Door and Quayside, provide services for a client group with arange of diverse and sometimes complex needs including substance misuse,homelessness, mental health problems and self-neglect.

Job Title: Medical Receptionist
Hours: 20 hours per week

The postholder will be the first point ofcontact for visitors and callers to and will be required to deal with enquiriesefficiently and courteously and to the mutual satisfaction of the partners,service users and patients.
You will providea professional and quality administrative support and reception service topatients, doctors, other health professionals and all visitors. You will be greeting and marking as arrived patientsand answering the telephone, along with referrals, scanning and other dutiessuch as tasks. You will work undergeneral supervision and within well established procedures.
You will be required to answer all incoming calls from patientsand other health care professionals, diverting them appropriately. Liaise withclinicians, make/cancel and re-arrangeappointment via the system. Undertakeroutine clerical duties, photocopying, scanning, computer work, messagetaking, telephone enquiries. Process and distribution of incoming and outgoingmail (including electronic).
