We are looking for a Senior Cardiac Rehabilitation Assistant to join our award winning Cardiac Rehabilitation Service based in Thanet.
We are a multi-disciplinary team, comprising nurses, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, counsellors, cardiac rehab assistants, administrators and volunteers.
Our services are provided in a variety of locations, including in a patient’s home, outpatient clinics in health centres and GP practices and community venues such as leisure centres and village halls, within the Ashford, Canterbury, South Kent Coast and Thanet CCG localities.
You will work with our patients to offer them support following a cardiac event.
You'll play a key part in their recovery, supporting their physical and mental well-being, tailored to meet individual patient needs.
You'll be caring and compassionate and show real care in the quality of the service we are providing.
You should have a good understanding of heart disease and the associated risks.
Due to the community nature of the role you will need to be able to drive with access to a vehicle.
Additional Working Pattern: 7.5 hours 3 days a week
