Job Title: Ticketing, Admission, and Membership Sales Staff Job Overview: The Ticketing, Admission, and Membership Sales Staff are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors by assisting with the sale of admission tickets and memberships. The role involves processing transactions, answering customer inquiries, promoting memberships, and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities: Greet and engage visitors in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers with ticket purchases for events and general admissions. Advise guests on the options available when memberships may have been deactivated or are expired. Promote and sell membership packages, providing detailed information on benefits and offers. Issue memberships and add details to the membership database. Create direct debit mandates as required by the membership package. Process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment accurately and efficiently. Resolve customer service issues, providing solutions and information as needed. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming ticketing & membership area. Handle customer inquiries both in-person and via phone or email. Educate guests on upcoming events, special promotions, and membership perks. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth visitor flow during high-traffic times or special events. Follow and enforce all company policies, including safety, security, and confidentiality protocols. Make up and issue membership packs for all new sales and renewals Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role (preferred). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of basic computer systems and software. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
