We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and committed Teaching Assistant, to join us. In a mainly classroom based role, you will work with colleagues to support an individual in their core learning including: reading, writing, and mathematics. You will also provide support in the playground encouraging the children's development of positive social friendships and play skills.
You will have:
• Experience of establishing positive relationships with young children and the ability to empathise with their needs
• A strong commitment to supporting children's learning
• A patient, resourceful, enthusiastic and flexible approach
• You will have experience of working with/caring for children, have your own children, or have worked with children in a voluntary capacity
• A keen interest in outdoor learning and making activities engaging and accessible to all
Do you have the enthusiasm to help with the safe running of our Breakfast Club and provide a safe and stimulating environment for our pupils?
We are looking for a Breakfast Club Assistant, who will actively and enthusiastically assist with the running of the Breakfast Club. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing a high-quality level of activities whilst offering appropriate stimulation and support to the children
• Preparing, serving and tidying away at the end of the meal
• Ensuring that the club is a safe environment for children; all equipment is safe to use and very high standards of hygiene are consistently maintained
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, and a calm, positive and flexible approach.
